| 330 | |a Cette thèse constitue une première étude de la morphophonologie nominale des langues sudarabiques modernes principalement le Mehri (Oriental/Najdi), bien que des données comparatives provenant d'autres langues sudarabiques modernes, principalement Jibbali/Shehri, soient mentionnées tout au long de cette thèse. Après une introduction en section I, qui rappelle les effets phonologiques décrits précédemment et qui serviront d'outils de diagnostic principaux pour la suite de cette thèse, les schèmes nominaux les plus attestés sont discutés dans la section II. Ici, les schèmes nominaux sont regroupés en fonction de caractéristiques de surface et ensuite analysés en termes d'application des effets phonologiques décrits précédemment. En suite, dans la section III, une discussion des catégories nominales et certaines caractéristiques phonologiques est proposée, suivie d'un tableau résumant l'ensemble des schèmes nominaux sous- jacents en Mehri. Parmi les caractéristiques discutées dans cette thèse figurent la distribution de formes sg./pl., la distribution de l'accent et des qualités vocaliques dans les formes nominales, le statut des adjectifs, le statut du morphème duel, la formation des fem.sg. et fem.pl. ainsi que la formation des noms verbaux. En ce qui concerne les traits phonologiques, le statut des glides et du / / a été discuté, tout comme la répartition de l'accent en lien avec les glides infixaux et / /. On espère ainsi que cette thèse contribuera à l'étude des langues sudarabiques modernes de manière général en comblant la lacune du domaine nominal, ainsi qu'à l'étude de la (morpho)phonologie de Mehri, tout en apportant un certain nombre de caractéristiques particulières du domaine nominal, qui pourraient être d intérêt pour des études ultérieures, tant de point de vue sync | ||
| 330 | |a This thesis is a first account of the nominal morphophonology in the Modern South Arabian Languages mainly (Eastern/Najdi) Mehri, although comparative data from other MSAL, mainly Jibbali/Shehri is mentioned throughout this thesis. After an introduction (section I), recalling the previously described phonological effects which will serve as principal diagnostic tools for the remainder of this thesis, the most prominently attested noun patterns are discussed in section II. Here, noun patterns are grouped together according to surface features and subsequently analyzed in terms of the application of previously described phonological effects. Subsequently, in section III a separate discussion of nominal categories and certain phonological features is given, followed by a table summarizing the set of underlying noun patterns in Mh. Amongst the features discussed in this thesis is the distribution of sg./pl. forms, the distribution of stress and vowel qualities in nominal forms, the status of adjectives, the status of the dual morpheme, fem.sg. and fem.pl. formation and verbal noun formation. In terms of phonological features, the status of glides and / / has been discussed, as well as the distribution of stress in connection with infixal glides and / /. It is thus hoped, that this thesis will contribute to the study of the MSAL in a general sense by closing the lacuna of the nominal domain, as well as contribute to the study of the (morpho)phonology of Mh. by contributing a number of particular features of the nominal domain, which might be of interest for further studies, both in terms of synchrony and diachro | ||
